Prosecution Impulse Responses was captured on location during the production of Faraz Shariat’s political thriller Prosecution (2026), this library provides the complete acoustic signature of the film’s central institutional locations. Set primarily within the rigid architecture of the legal system, the film requires precise, imposing spatial acoustics to reflect its narrative tension.
In the political thriller Prosecution after a racist attack young prosecutor Seyo is fighting in court against her attackers and a legal system that ignores right-wing extremism.
The recorded impulse responses served as an essential tool during post-production to seamlessly blend distinct sound elements into a unified acoustic space. By applying the exact spatial footprints of the original locations, off-set Foley, wild tracks, and ADR cues were matched directly to the on-set production sound without artificial coloration. Additionally, the multi-channel surround setups provided the necessary spatial depth to diffuse crowd recordings across the large courtrooms and corridors, anchoring group acoustics convincingly within the mix.
The collection features systematically measured distance perspectives—ranging from close 2-meter setups to 15-meter distant configurations, as well as cross-room and closed-door transmissions.
